Royal Gala
Imported from New Zealand around 1960, it results from the crossing of a Kidd’s Orange and a Golden Delicious.
It is flamed orange red and shiny with a lemon creamed color.
Taste
Its flesh, white and melting, is very sweet, crunchy and juicy. Delicious both raw and cooked.
